Ambassador Jack Brewer, CEO and Executive Producer
Ambassador Jack Brewer was born on January 8, 1979 in Ft. Worth, TX and raised in Grapevine, TX by Rosa and Eddie Brewer. He attended Grapevine High School where he was a top student, All-State athlete and record setter in football and track. Following high school, Amb. Brewer went on to attend Southern Methodist University (SMU) where he was a freshman All-American Candidate in football and a Disney World Classic Record Holder in track. Mr. Brewer transferred to the University of Minnesota and continued to excel both academically and athletically, earning several honors including Academic All-Big Ten, Carl Eller Defensive MVP Award, Paul Giel Award, First Team All-Big Ten by Media, All-Big Ten in Track and Field and was team captain on the football team. He has four children, Jared, Laesha, Jackson and Zayah.
BACKGROUND
EDUCATION
Brewer earned his Bachelor of Science (2001) and his Masters in Sport Management (2002) from the University of Minnesota, all while playing Division I football. Additionally, he has completed Executive Business Programs at Harvard School of Business (2005) and the Wharton School of Business (2006), and is currently pursuing his Masters in International Affairs from Colombia University. Brewer is currently completing the Executive MBA program at the University of Miami where he is spearheading Brewer Sports International’s education program to be the largest post-secondary degree program in professional sports, having graduated over 40 current and former professional athletes with EMBA degrees in its first graduating class.
PROFESSIONAL SPORTS
Following his senior year at the University of Minnesota, Mr. Brewer went on to compete in the East-West Shrine game and was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota Vikings (2002). Known as an exceptional special teams player and versatile defensive back, Jack Brewer established a reputation as a true leader during his five-year tenure in the National Football League (NFL), including captain on three NFL teams. Amb. Brewer was a Pro Bowl candidate on special teams as a rookie, and had his first career interception against Brett Favre that same year. He was named Vikings team captain in 2003 and went on to be captain on the New York Giants (2004) and the Philadelphia Eagles (2005). While playing for the New York Giants, Amb. Brewer founded The Brewer Group Companies (TBG) which operated a successful mortgage origination practice closing over $100mm in mortgages. After completing his fifth and final year in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals (2006), Amb. Brewer accepted a position as a Wealth Manager with Merrill Lynch (2007) in the Global Private Client Group located in New York City.
BUSINESS
After a successful career with Merrill Lynch ranking in the top one percent in his class across the firm, Amb. Brewer served as an Investment Banker at Paramount Bio from 2009-2011 where he helped lead numerous financings. During that time, he also served as the Managing Director at Opus Point Partners, a biotech focused hedge fund, where he raised the seed capital at the fund's inception. In 2011, Amb. Brewer turned his focus to his role as CEO and Executive Producer of The Brewer Group, Inc. (TBG) (www.thebrewergroup.com), which makes principal investments into public and private growth companies. TBG strategically combines its business development capabilities and vast media and marketing expertise to help bring value to small growth companies who are making a positive impact around the globe. Brewer has served as CEO and Portfolio Manager at TBG for over a decade.
TBG’s diverse clientele includes public and private corporations, brands, NGOs and influencers from across the United States and in various emerging and frontier markets. In its first year, Jack Brewer and his team accomplished a highly successful private equity investment for The After Midnight Group to establish a now renowned restaurant chain in the Midwest under the ‘Cowboys’ brand. TBG has gone on to invest in dozens of public and private companies spanning a variety of sectors.

Amb. Brewer's Executive Productions cross art, music, sports, fashion and film. Since 1998, Mr. Brewer has produced numerous celebrities’ events and currently serves as an active contributor for major news and print media. Jack Brewer regularly appears on Fox Business, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN and CNBC commenting on a wide range of topics. His ongoing event productions include United Nations summits, Super Bowl activations, Art Basel exhibit showcases, 30 Under 30 Film Festival, Impact Investor Conference Series and the internationally respected JBF Global Ambassadors Tour. He is currently producing film projects that include documentaries, news features as well as his first short film, titled “Ruta Viva”, an international co-production shot in Quito, Ecuador which is scheduled to be released in 2018. Mr. Brewer recently announced the opening of BM Contemporary Art and Design, a Miami gallery producing and curating modern art and custom furniture. Jack Brewer is also Executive Producing his son Jared's first music album, which is scheduled to be released in early 2019.
PHILANTHROPY/AMBASSADOR
In addition to his business endeavors, Amb. Brewer’s passionate philanthropy drives his motivation. He is the Founder and Executive Director of The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide), a 501(c)(3) which uses its various programs and global initiatives to offer educational opportunities and economic development to underprivileged individuals around the world (www.jbfworldwide.org). For three years Amb. Brewer served as Ambassador for Peace and Sport for the United Federation for Peace and Sustainable Development (UFPSD) at the United Nations. In 2017, Amb. Brewer was named the Ambassador and Spokesman for the National Association of Police Athletics/Activities Leagues (NPAL).
Amb. Brewer also served as a Senior Advisor to the former President of Malawi, H.E. Joyce Banda, who he advised on several ongoing economic development initiatives across Malawi including healthcare, education, agriculture, microfinance, scholarship, infrastructure and sports programs and continues to provide ongoing support to individuals living in extreme poverty. In collaboration with Joyce Banda Foundation International, Innovative Health International and various other partnering organizations, JBF Worldwide has provided access to more than 10 million liters of clean water, well over 500,000 meals, helped deliver over 100,000 indestructible soccer balls, over $70 million worth of medical supplies and has ongoing initiatives screening and treating cervical and breast cancer for over 4,000 women a year across Malawi and Haiti, respectively. JBF Worldwide continues to offer meals and nutrition to children in dozens of orphanages in Malawi and Haiti as well as assist in promoting organic farming and other nutritional solutions to help bring food security to underserved nations.

With Amb. Brewer’s lead, JBF Worldwide has supported organizations and initiatives in numerous countries spanning three continents including Malawi, Haiti, China, Egypt, Nepal, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Mexico and beyond by implementing globally sustainable strategies using sport as the catalyst. Through the JBF Global Ambassador Program which has worked with celebrity ambassadors including professional athletes, models and entertainers, Jack Brewer has mobilized numerous influencers to travel internationally in support of various historic initiatives. Following the tragic earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, Mr. Brewer conceptualized and spearheaded the creation of “One Team 4 Haiti,” a joint campaign that united the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) to support the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund which focuses on the country's earthquake relief and recovery efforts. The campaign culminated in a PSA by President George Bush and President Bill Clinton during the Super Bowl; and since then JBF Global Ambassadors have continued to mobilize resource to bring aid in the midst of several recent natural disaster in the United States and abroad.
