Thanksgiving is a holiday that is sacred to the fabric of America. No matter your race, religion or social class, Thanksgiving offers an opportunity to reflect on the many freedoms we have as Americans.
It's also a time when busy people can set aside time to spend and appreciate their family and close friends.
But I have to wonder if Thanksgiving is really less about turkey and relationships and more about watching television and all the ads that hope to lead us to local retailers on Black Friday.
