The recent USA Today coverage of African-American NFL playersallegedly being profiled by police officers has received a lot of attention. Some people have been shocked that out of the 688 NFL player arrests since January 2000, 607 involve African-American players.
About 88 percent of arrests have involved African-Americans, while 66 percent of NFL players are African-American.
