Jack Brewer to be Honored with Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Award at Super Bowl 50
February 5, 2016, San Francisco, CA- Brewer Sports International (BSI) CEO Jack Brewer will be honored with the Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Award at Leigh Steinberg’s 29th Annual Super Bowl Party taking place Saturday, February 6th, a day before Super Bowl 50. The 29th Annual Leigh Steinberg Super Bowl Party is a glittering extravaganza that brings together sports, Hollywood, politics, media, NFL owners, and some of the most powerful executives and companies in the country.
The Steinberg DeNicola Humanitarian Award recognizes outstanding individuals in the NFL community that devote and dedicate their time to address community issues and the welfare of humanity. This year will mark the second annual awards- inaugural award recipients include names such as Jeff Fisher, Head Coach of the St. Louis Rams and Jonathan Babineaux, Defensive Tackle on the Atlanta Falcons. Brewer devotes an enormous amount of time giving back. He started The Jack Brewer Foundation in 2006 which uses sport as a catalyst to provide resources and opportunities to the world’s most underserved populations and actively works to “Empower From Within”.
Brewer travels around the globe to places like Haiti, Guatemala, Malawi and Egypt with his Global Ambassadors Tour, a collection of more than 100 athletes and entertainers who are committed to support initiatives in underserved communities worldwide. Additionally, Brewer aims to empower his fellow athletes through BSI. BSI offers business management services, education and career transition services, to name a few, to former and current professional athletes to provide clients with opportunities outside of sports. BSI strives to ensure that all clients are able to focus on their careers both on and off the field.
Kicking off the 29th Annual Steinberg Super Bowl Party will be 3rd Annual Super Bowl Brain Health Summit, hosted by the Global Brain Health Coalition (GBHC) of which Brewer is a co-founder. The mission of GBHC is to become the leading global voice for brain health awareness and empowerment by converging science, clinical research and impact.
