JBF Global Ambassadors Head to Puerto Rico in Partnership with RWJBarnabas Health

NEW YORK, NY, October 27, 2017 -- The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and its Global Ambassadors embark on Puerto Rico today to continue assisting on the ground with the critically needed emergency relief efforts and support the millions of Puerto Ricans displaced by Hurricane Maria, the catastrophic storm and flood disaster that have put approximately 3.5 million U.S. citizens throughout the island at extreme risk. JBF will be bringing healthcare relief through the distribution of clean water via Aquatabs water purification tablets and other urgently needed medical supplies to selected areas who haven’t received sufficient relief. Led by JBF Worldwide founder/former NFL player, Jack Brewer, the foundation is working alongside JBF Global Ambassador, Miss World Puerto Rico 2014 Génesis María Dávila, as well as many other celebrity influencers including actress Amanda Cerny, iconic Rohan Marley, 2x World Boxing Champ Andre Berto, National Football League legend Ray Lewis as well as many other key partners, clinicians, volunteers and supporters including: RWJBarnabas Health supported by CareOne and Innovacare, Innovating Health International and leaders and partners on the ground to deploy critically needed aid and supplies to those in dire need from donations made through the JBF Global Ambassadors Hurricane Relief Effort. JBF’s Global Ambassadors have already helped clean over half a million gallons of fresh water along with various other critically needed supplies and aid to some of the hardest hit areas in South Texas following Hurricane Harvey. The foundation is continuing its aid efforts in Puerto Rico to some of the most underserved and unreached communities, targeting Ms. Dávila's hometown of Arroyo and surrounding municipalities including Guayama, Patillas and Maunabo. These towns have compromised electricity, communications and water systems, with no access to clean water and are facing a major health and humanitarian crisis. Additionally, the foundation has been assisting civilians who have unmet health and medical needs by evacuating them out of the island to receive the medical attention they desperately need. “We must all do what we can to help our fellow Americans who are facing unimaginable realities that are typically only seen in the underdeveloped world,” commented Mr. Brewer. “It’s time to set aside our division and pour our energy and love into helping the recent hurricane victims get access to their basic needs. I'm so thankful to Jack Morris and RWJBarnabas Health for donating their planes and medical supplies to the people of Puerto Rico.” Immediately following Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, JBF launched its JBF Global Ambassadors Hurricane Relief Effort working alongside the foundation's various partners and influencers to fundraise, collect and deliver aid, with a focus on clean water, health care and medical relief. 100% of all funds raised will be given directly to JBF's partners and civilians on the ground.
