In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly designated March 22 as the first World Water Day. Twenty-two years later, World Water Day is celebrated around the world shining the spotlight on a different issue every year. In 2015, the theme for World Water Day is 'Water and Sustainable Development'.
MagneGas Corporation will host a World Water Day Summit on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City in partnership with The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace (USFMEP).
The World Water Day Summit will provide a high-level platform for dialogue surrounding sustainable development and global efforts to manage clean water. UN Ambassadors and diplomats, industry leaders including sustainability companies and environmental organizations, and many others will spend the day focusing on the challenges many regions of the world face when it comes to the availability and necessity of clean water and more importantly, innovative solutions will be highlighted and addressed.
